about ban.jpg

I'm delighted to connect with you! I'm originally from Upstate, NY, but I spent my formative years soaking up the vibrant energy of South Florida. As a dedicated therapist, I've honed my skills to become a master of emotional intelligence, and I'm truly passionate about advocating for wellness in all its forms.

Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, each facing their unique challenges. From supporting Wounded Warriors and their families during housing crises to helping homeless veterans secure stable homes, my commitment to making a meaningful impact has always been at the forefront of my practice. I've also been there for those who frequently find themselves admitted to psychiatric facilities, guiding them towards stability and healing.

I'm especially proud of my work in the realm of healthcare accessibility. Whether it's assisting uninsured individuals in obtaining vital HIV medication or ensuring that those without insurance or documentation have access to life-saving insulin, I've made it my mission to bridge gaps and provide support.

Another significant chapter in my journey has been working closely with pregnant undocumented women, ensuring they receive exceptional prenatal care and support during a pivotal time in their lives. Moreover, my experience as a Medical Case Manager has allowed me to help patients navigate the complexities of new diagnoses and connect them with crucial resources to aid their journey to recovery.

Beyond my professional role, I'm a military veteran, a devoted wife, and a proud dog mom. These aspects of my life have instilled in me a deep sense of dedication, empathy, and resilience – qualities that I bring to my therapeutic practice.

I believe that each individual's journey is unique and deserves tailored attention. My approach is centered around fostering emotional growth, facilitating resilience, and championing your overall well-being. So, whether you're a working professional, an entrepreneur, or someone seeking guidance, know that I'm here to support you on your path towards personal and professional success.

  • What Should I Expect During My First Session?
Our initial meeting’s duration will be 70-90 minutes long, and we'll have the opportunity to discuss your specific needs, aspirations, and any preferences you may have. This session serves as a pivotal point to tailor our approach according to your individuality. Your distinct requirements are at the forefront of our engagement. I am genuinely eager to make this journey as effective and meaningful as possible for you. The extended initial session provides ample opportunity for you to openly discuss your objectives and areas you wish to transform. Equally important, the first session involves a comprehensive review of pertinent history and the triggering events that prompted your pursuit of therapy.

Confidentiality is a foundation in our therapist-client relationship. It's about trust, especially when discussing private matters. At the beginning, you'll receive a document called "Informed Consent," that explains confidentiality rules. Also, there may be a time when you might want your therapist to share info with your healthcare team. In this instance, your written permission would be required before I disclose any of your information. Your privacy is a priority. But, there are situations where we might need to break confidentiality. Including, but not limited to, the following: Abuse or Neglect: If there's concern about someone being abused or neglected, we have to report it to authorities.
